Can back pain be a sign of pregnancy? It’s like the middle of my back hurts so bad.

My back pain didn’t start until second trimester and it was upper back pain but it could be a sign! I had lower back pain right before I got my BFP

I had severe back back pain. I could not sit or stand without feeling that dull aching pain in my lower to mid back... I even thought about going to the hospital to get some relief. My friend who was pregnant at the time told me to wait till my period comes. Period never came I am now 14 weeks pregnant with healthy baby...
