FET-Bed Rest?

Question

My RE said I will need to be on 100% bed rest for 2 days after FET but Ive read where some people say  they dont because it's good to be up and down so you can circulate blood to your uterus. Your personal experience? Thoughts?

Mine does modified bed rest. Basically be lazy on the couch and get up every once in a while 🤷

I did bed rest the day of transfer but after that light work and got a BFP

Hi.. I was asked to carry on my regular schedule and not work out or have sex.. I actually got back to work the same afternoon this time as it helped me de stress and I got my bfp.. the only thing I did in my 2ww is avoid carrying anything heavy or doing any strenuous work

I had my FET yesterday and my doctor warned me absolutely no bed rest. If you take bed rest its a higher chance to ruin the implatation. This is what he told me. You can go with your normal activity,but nothing to heavy,moderate.
I didnt took bedrest yesterday,i walked for 20min, eat my warm meal,and drove to my MILs wich is 1h away. I come home,wear again my warm socks eat my warm dinner,the pineapple and felt a sleep.my normal rutine. And its true that you need to move around to havr blood circulation in your uterus.

My transfer was yesterday and I was told to resume normal activities. After the transfer my husband and I grabbed some lunch, then I went shopping for a wedding and then went to acupuncture. After I got home I was on the couch and did some light housework. Today I'm at work but I made sure I kept my schedule light. Each doctor has their own technique and opinions. I dont think there is a for sure, 100% chance that 1 way is the right way.

Well no matter what the doctor said, I passed out hard for 3 hours when I got home, probably  from the Valium. Woke up starving, couch potato, then shower and bed since I was exhausted. The next day I only had enough energy to couch potato and took 2 naps then went to bed at normal time. Just still so wiped out. Today after a full nights sleep feel more energized and going to run errands. Took the week off work because my job is strenuous. I have the kind of job where when I’m not “playing cards” 😏 I run codes in a level one trauma center and put in a minimum of 12-16,000 steps a day... So I’m just listening to what my body needs right now, hopefully it works out for the best...

Was told bedrest the day of transfer. Nothing but getting up to use the bathroom and shower. Next day no bed rest. Just no strenuous exercise or heavy lifting

I think it just depends on how conservative your dr is. I was told “couch potato” status for the day of transfer and the day after.

My transfer was yesterday and they told me to be a couch potato the day of transfer. I was planning on going back to work today but when I told my doctor that she was like “Umm no you’re not” and wrote me a doctors note restricting me from work (even though it’s just office work). They said to just rest on day 2 but get up and walk around at least every 2 hours. Hope that helps!

My RE said to take the easy the day of transfer, but bed rest wouldn’t be necessary & then to go back to my normal routine the next day at my comfort level.
