girdle or no girdle

after you ladies had your babies, did you wear a girdle or any type of support to help you heal? I didn't with my first son. it took a long time to feel normal again. like 9 months. I've stretched so much with this pregnancy and im not sure if I should use something this time? curious as to what other ladies did. thanks!
