I am naming a boy (which is what he wants more) and he is naming a girl, (which is what I want more.)

We easily agreed on a girl name had a feeling baby was a girl... Turns out it was a boy. Had one name we both loved and then told people and they tore it apart. We were so upset and decided to try to find another name. We finally agreed on a name at 35 weeks... It's safe to say we aren't telling anyone this name until he is born.

I love the name Charlotte, but DH kind of hates it. I think he's slowly coming around, because I really like the nickname Lottie for it. So we would call her Little Lottie or Lottie Lou.

I wanted to name ours Connor if a boy and Sophia if it was a girl.he said if it was a girl he wanted Jasmine...which incompletely dislike. (No offense to any Jasmine's here) so we decided if it was a boy he could pick the first name and I would pick the middle and if a girl I would choose the first and he would choose the middle. We ended up with Brody Connor. But I'm picking the next one!!

I pick first name (which he has to agree with), he picks middle names. Reason being that he likes pretty ridiculous names. He wanted for our son's FIRST NAME to be Furious. Legitimately. He's given creative freedom for middle names. That's our compromise.

I think naming the child is the hardest part of the pregnancy. My SO & I MAY have a name picked out, but we've had many fights over the "right" name that we both like. Hopefully there's no more of that. 😂

My husband was weirded out that I picked the names I did. But after a disastrous birthday lunch for my Oma's 90th birthday, my husband finally said "No, if it was a boy, his name would ha e been Wolfgar, it supposedly means wolf warrior in old Norse."

It took him a while, but now he likes all of the names I've packed.
