Anyone else? I see all the posts lately are either the baby already came, you think you're in labor, the baby dropped, or you are dilated.

I'm 37 weeks 4 days. I'm not dilated at all. Not effaced. Cervix is closed. Not softening at all. Babys head is "waaaaay up there" according to OB when she checked me. Whole lot of nothing going on. No contractions. No cramps. No symptoms of labor at all. I feel normal. I feel like I felt at 20 weeks or 30 weeks. As if this baby is going to be in there forever. I see and feel him 3 inches above my belly button still.

My other kids were born by now, so what the heck? Why would my 3rd kid stay in longer than the first two? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm ok with it I guess. My husband says every day "Are you gonna hurry up and have this baby today so I can go on vacation?" Because he gets 1 week off. He kissed me goodbye for work this morning and was like "Do you want to have the baby right now so I don't even go in today?" I was like quit pressuring him! He said "I'm not pressuring him, I'm pressuring you!" He's mostly kidding around. But I'm like geez. My due date is May 6th. I took guesses from everybody a while back and he said Cinco de Mayo. Now all of a sudden that he found out his boss is going to let him take a week off he is saying "the baby is coming this weekend". Wishful thinking.

So its just funny that I feel nothing and like nothing is happening.
