Women with PCOS how do you handle the facial hair and body hair on your stomach? Do you shave it?

I'd always wondered why I had more hair than other girls and felt ashamed for quite some time. When I found I had pcos and there was a reason, I felt validated and gave myself permission to pay for laser hair removal. I used groupons for it so I only had 6 sessions in each area, and it greatly reduced it for me. I now get waxed about every 6-8weeks to take care of the rest. My husband accepts the expense as cost of living and not an extra (gotta love him 😊).

Wax or pluck. Eventually I will be getting laser. I used to shave but that made things look sooooo much worse. I know everyone says its just a "myth", but ANY place I began to shave this happened 😓 so now I just wax/pluck. Since I've been doing that, my hair hair has been looking thinner and less noticeable. I also don't get those ugly red dots anymore 😊 Another tip, I changed my diet and have noticed I don't get as much hair as I used to in certain places! Woohoo!

I don't have PCOS but I always had hair on my stomach and I just shave it.

I shave the hair on my stomach just below my belly and when it grows back it looks horrible. Does anyone have any solutions and am I the only one? I am extremely insecure about this.

I have PCOS, my excess body hair disappeared when I started up metformin, and then started cutting all soy and rbst products from my diet. I was weened off metformin, and the combination of Skyla and the soy/rbst cut out have continued to work beautifully.

I shave the hair on my stomach and tweeze the hair on my face, or wax the facial hair. Going to try laser after baby gets here. It's so dark and annoying.
