How soon can you find out what you're having? I heard normally it's 18-20 weeks but I also heard this girl say she found out 11 weeks through a blood test? Is that an option or was she just making that up?

Blood tests will go w you earlier results. I found out via ultrasound. When I was about 15 weeks they told me they are 80% sure he's a boy, but I'm having a 3D/4D ultra sound next week I'll be 24week or so then. Hoping to get the 100% it's a he, so I don't have to think of a new name.

No the blood test is real. It also checks for Down syndrome and other genetic things. You can sometimes tell from ultrasound 11-13 weeks by which way the nub is pointing. And find out by ultrasound for sure around 15-16 weeks
