Too young ?

I’m 17 and I turn 18 in July, my boyfriend is 18 and he turned 18 in March. Our prom is on May 25 and my mom knows we’re gonna have a hotel that night, she was against it but she had a hotel for prom with her boyfriend (my dad now) so she said why not. But I was wondering is it wrong for my boyfriend to start sleeping over now? I live in an apartment and last night he was over late. We fell asleep on the couch and my mom and stepdad fell asleep in their room with the door open. We obviously wouldn’t have sex in the same house with them especially with the door open and it leads straight to the living room where we’re at. He’s spent the night before when it was an emergency and he slept in my room while I slept in the room with my mom. I asked my mom when can me and him start sleeping on the couch together and she said she doesn’t know. And we always take long naps togther and don’t do anything because we’re tired. We are already sexually active but we don’t have the needs to do it 24/7....I don’t argue with my mom over stuff like this because it’s not that serious I’m just curious on your responses...please respond.
