If you’ve been induced after you were already slightly dilated how did you end up delivering your baby?

I was dialated at 4 but baby was still high up so dialted didnt mean much for me but i got induced not even 5 minutes later he was already head out barley doctor made into thw room to catch him

I was not dilated at 40+3 weeks so they induced me. Around 70ish hours later I had my daughter at 5:39 am. They had me scheduled for a csection at 8 am if I didn’t get her out. This time around if it’s not medically necessary I will not be getting induced unless I’m really over due.

Started Vaginal but he got stuck with his head at the opening so they pushed him back in and needed an emergency C-section.

I was around 2-3 cm dilated when I was induced with my 1st. I had her vaginally after a little over 3 hours of active labor. With my 2nd, I was only a fingertip dilated the day of induction. I ended up having a c-section after 8+ hours of active labor because baby's head was too big for my pelvis. I'm expecting my 3rd in June & I'm hoping for a VBAC & to avoid an induction this time 🤞
