Labor?

I’m 36 weeks and I feel very “off.” I’m cramping a lot and I’m extremely nauseous! I lost at least part of my mucous plug and it was a little bloody. This is my second baby. I knew for sure I was in labor with my son because the pain was unbearable. But so far, the contractions haven’t been bad. I called my doctor and he said to wait it out unless it was unbearable or my water broke. I just feel really strange and bad. Any advice?

I always go into labor a few hours after my “bloody show” of the mucus plug with blood on it. Fingers crossed for you!

Feeling the same way! I’m 37+ 4 today and contractions are coming in at different times all with in 6 mins of each other. Try walking! That’s been helping me. I also am on my 2nd baby and feel like maybe my pain tolerance is a bit higher this time around. I’ve had pains all night for two nights now, some making me feel extra nauseous. I’ve also some leakage but no water breakage. Just waiting it out before I head to the hospital. Good luck mama!

My mom said with her second baby her contractions weren't even that bad until the last ten minutes! If she waited at home any longer she wouldn't have made it to the hospital.

Gah I’m so sorry!! Try to breath, deep breaths, and do some stretching. Hydrate as well and try to go #2....all these things often help pains I am having that are not in fact labor. If it’s the real deal it will progress anyway and then you’ll know for sure. Hang in there mama I’m so sorry that sounds very uncomfortable!!
