If you are taking an animal, I highly recommend hiring a courier to handle all the paperwork. There is a lot of it and it is very expensive to move the animals. I'm a vet and have handled this a lot.

If your vaccinations from your home country are similar to England's then yes. We brought a pup from Scotland to Canada.  And she was not quarantined.  Which in Canada they can for 30 days to ensure no diseases are transmitted. Your vet normally just has to completed documentation. My girlfriend who moved to England from Canada took her  cat last year and just had to visit the vet to up to date vaccinations and the paperwork portion.  Do be aware tho some airlines don't treat animals very well
