39w5d - is it possible??

Question

Just got back from my OB.  I'm finally 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. He said I'm -1 as well.  
Is that possible?? Looks like at the -1 station, I would be further dilated/effaced.  Anyone else get these same stats?

Thanks ladies!  Really trying for an un medicated, natural birth but with my slight insulin resistance (I don't like to say GD because all my levels are normal, haha) I am still labeled "high risk". My doctor is working with me but if I don't have him by Monday at 3, I go back in for an ultrasound and we go from there.  I'll be 40w2d at that point.  Trying to stretch it out to 40w5d if I can!

Good luck everyone!!! I know it can happen so quickly so I'll be hoping that's what happens for each of us!

39+5 today and at my appointment yesterday I was a fingertip dilated (and not even fully that!) and still needing to efface more. I'm convinced I'll be going over our 9/20 due date.

I've been 70% effaced, dilated to 1cm, and in the -1 position for over a month now, unfortunately no progress for me! But nothing is "normal" when it comes to our crazy bodies for pregnancy lol, everyone is different.

Lucky for you o am not dilated at all. There is no progress for me and I am also 39w5d. So I'm a little disappointed :' -(
