My husband and I are considering putting off knowing the gender until our Baby Shower. We would have the doctor write that information down, seal it in an envelope, and possibly give it to a close friend or family member to help arrange the gender reveal at the Shower. We would be happy with either gender, but we just happen to have a boy's name picked out, but not a girl's name. So I only fear putting it off will give us less time to lock down a girl's name if it is revealed that is the gender of our baby. I'm just wondering if anyone else is considering doing something similar to this and what might be your own reasons for delaying finding out the gender?
