He lost his job

My husband just lost the job he started. It was a great job. Good pay good benefits good hours plenty of opportunity to move up. He started it 3wks ago and they let him go today because he missed 2 days of work. I get it but it sucks. Idk why he didn't take it more serious. I'm so frustrated with him. It took forever for him to even get this job. Now we're back to square one. We're supposed to moving into our house in October. Idk what to do. I don't want to be like upsetting toward him. I want to encourage him. Idk how though. Any suggestions? I'm just confused as to why he blew this job.
