breastpump do you prefer, and why?" /> My insurance will cover most of the Ameda. I would only have to pay $15 out of pocket. However if I was to choice the Medal I'd have to pay $100 out of pocket. I read some reviews online, but I want opinions from y'all. Is the medela worth the extra $85??? The amin thing I read that people didn't like about the medela was the weight; where as the ameda had suction issues and some gave out early. Please help decide.

I can attest to the suction issues with the Ameda and it giving out. I ended up renting a hospital grade from Babies-R-Us for the last few months with my last. I will NOT be getting another one!
