Drying pots and pans??

Question

Drive my husband crazy that I set my pots and pans to dry in the oven. We have extremely small kitchen. I use a dish drainer for plates, bowl, cups, and cutlery. Where do put put pots and pans pans to dry?

I wash by hand then use dishwasher as a rack to drain then dry and put away. A lot of space too!

Pots and pans go in dish drainer, since I wash then by hand. Dishes, cups, cutlery go in the dishwasher and dry there! 
Serious question: do you turn the oven on to dry them? Or do you just put them in there for saving space?

The oven is a great storage space as long as everyone is trained to check the oven before turning it on.

You're not supposed to put most pots and pans in the dishwasher.

I hand wash, dry with the dish towel, put the item away. I do every dish/etc like that, one at a time. Wash, wipe dry, put away.

Haha mine hates that too! I've always used the stove top and oven to dry the pots and pans and baking sheets. They never go in the dishwasher or else I find it ruins them.

Dishwasher ruins pot and pan enamel,  so I hand wash and put them on a mat next to sink. I would never put them in the oven where the food you just cooked came from,  doesn't seem too sanitary.

We put ours in the dishwasher just after dinner, the cycle is usually done by the time we go to bed. We open the dishwasher and let everything Airdrie over night. We've done that every where we've lived, from the tiniest apartment in DC to the house we own now with the chef's dream kitchen.
