When baby is born what is your work plan?

What is your plan for when baby comes? How long will you stay home? 
I am a nanny and was thinking of staying home for 4 months.... how do you go about asking boss if you can bring baby with you to work? Do I look for a new job ? Do I put baby in daycare (scared of this especially with measles outbreak since baby can’t get shot til 12 months)

I also nanny but am only planning on taking 6-8 weeks off. When I mentioned that I was pregnant they were the ones who suggested I bring the baby with me into work if I wanted. 
I would mention it to them and see if they are open to the idea.

Taking 3 months off. I'm applying for reduced full time (32hrs/week) and doing daycare the other 4 days.

I’m also a nanny and I’m planning to take 4 weeks off and then they are bringing their child to me for 4 weeks. My husband will be off for 8 weeks so he will be a lot of help. Before we tried trying to get pregnant I had a talk with them about bringing my baby to work and they said they’d love that!

I’m taking 3 months off. Wish I could do more but it won’t be paid leave after 3 months.

I’m planning to take about 7 and a half months off. With my company we are entitled to a year but it’s 90% pay up to 6 months and I cant afford to be off when it goes down to 50% or less. The other month and a half is me using up my Annual Leave which is full pay.

I get 13 weeks of paid maternity leave, then I’ll be using 3 weeks paid vacation and 1 week paid sick time. We haven’t quite figured out the afterwards. We won’t need care until mid January, so we’ve got some time to figure it out.

i’m a nanny also, and to make it more complicated my boss is due exactly 2 months before me! they told me i could take up to 3 months but unfortunately they can’t afford maternity pay with a new baby and she won’t go back to work until i can come back to work. the plan is to take 6-8 weeks then come back slow, part time at first and working back up to full time. i asked if i could bring my daughter with me and they’re open to trying it but that would be 4 kids ages 6, 3, and then 2 that will be babies and only 2 months apart. i don’t have a way to drive that many kids at once so we’re just going to try to figure something out. luckily my mom lives close by and has offered to watch my baby as often as needed so I can work and not worry about daycare or anything
