Benefits

I haven't given birth yet (due date in two days!!) but my SO just informed me that I will be stopping breastfeeding when my son is two and a half. His reasoning is he doesn't want him to be a pansy (he didn't say that but I could tell it's what he meant). Obviously I disagree 100% and plan to stop whenever I and LO please. But I was hoping some of you ladies could detail the benefits of breastfeeding, especially as they grow older. Or send me some articles to read about it. Like I know it's been called liquid gold and changes to your LO's needs, but I need more eloquent ways of saying all of this. Thanks in advance!
