Anyone else think having a puppy and a baby to grow up together a cute idea? My wife and I have a 3 year old Shepard/Doberman and a 4 mo husky/mastiff and my wonderful wife thought it was a fantastic idea to get a puppy so the baby and the dog grow together. I’m still worried on how this will turn out but I love the idea of it. Our Shepard/Doberman is starting to be more protective around my wife by curling up next to her everywhere she goes and tried to attack one of my drunk friends that came over so I think he knows of the baby but our puppy just runs and plays like nothing is happening. Anyone else have a puppy around the same time they were expecting? Training tips for once the baby is finally here?
