Do you use used baby clothes?

Yes from family. But she’s mostly outgrown all that so about 90% of her closet is new clothes.

i haven’t had a baby yet but i know for sure i won’t be turning down hand me downs. i have a friend who has kept all her baby clothes for me for when i do finally have mine <3

Yep, it’s either used, clearance rack or cheap from Walmart. It’s rarely new unless it’s one of those things. Or if grandparents buy it new. I actually really like once upon a child for clothes. They’re cheap, clean & current. They don’t look worn, and half the time what I buy still has original tags. I’ve also gotten toys there too. And lots of the toys we have are used.

As long as it’s in good condition I don’t see a reason not to. My baby grew like a weed at 1st and was out of nb and 0-3 month clothes by 3 months and he just turned 7 months and is in 9/12 month clothes. It saves money and I don’t see a point in buying a bunch of brand new clothes to wear 1 or 2x b4 they get outgrown.

Most definitely! Babies grow WAY too quickly to purchase all brand new clothes. My daughter is 3.5yo and most of her wardrobe her whole life has been hand me downs from my best friend.

My son wore 90% second hand clothes when he was a baby. I bought cute little outfits for special occasions or if I really liked something. He wears more clothes now that aren’t second hand, but I’ll still buy jumpers and the occasional trousers second hand. Most of his clothes end up badly stained anyway. 
If it means I’m able to save and spend that money on memories instead, heck yeah I’ll do it.

90% of my son’s clothes are hand-me-downs from my SIL and one of my best friends. Most of his toys, books, and bigger items (swing, crib, bouncer) are as well.
