Recently I started the Portia-28 mid cycle and it looks like I may have ovulated on the 10th and had sex the 8th. Usually I ovulate later. Last night my bf and I had sex and towards the end I started bleeding it was a lighter more water red and didn’t last a long time but bleed like a light tampons worth. Today I have a little brown spot and nothing more. The pregnancy test yesterday was negative but I don’t know if it’s too early to test not to mention I’m also still on the BC. I’m so confused as this has never happened to me. Any suggestions or has thins happened to anyone? Is this because I started the pill mid cycle? Usually I would be getting my period in a a few days but my severe pmdd was the reason I started this bc for awhile to help normalize my moods and be able to skip periods and the drop on hormones when right before.

I’m just really confused and overwhelmed.
