Exercise while pregnant

I’m not typically someone who exercises. I work at a daycare so I get some (dancing, carrying kids, carrying out big bass of trash) but I don’t actually exercise.

I know it’s important to do so while pregnant, but what is safe?

I don’t have my first appointment until I’m at 8.5 weeks. I’m at 6 weeks right now.

I don’t want to do anything that will cause me to miscarry but I know I should probably get some exercise in.
