Husband got home from work around 6pm tonight, later than most days. I’m a SAHM to our almost 5 year old son so I of course had dinner ready and had already eaten with my son by that time. Maybe it’s just bc I’m pregnant that these things really bother me but god damn.... hubby’s the last one to get dinner, leaves the food sitting on the stove instead of putting it away in a Tupperware container and he NEVER PUSHES IN HIS CHAIR!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Yeah you work all day, but IM NOT A MAID AND DONT NEED TO PUSH IN YOUR CHAIR FOR YOU and common courtesy, you’re the last to get food so put the remaining in a container!! Is it THAT hard?! Then he spends the next hour or so pooping and showering. WHY DO MEN TAKE SO LONG TO POOP?!?! 
Best part, before he went to the bathroom I went pee (bc when don’t I have to pee) and purposely farted in the bathroom and boy did it STINKKKK 😂 Thank you pregnancy gas for coming in clutch tonight. Perfect timing. Well done 👏🏻

You're not alone with that kind of husband lol. A while back when my husband had a lot of overtime he would get home around 6 and need to go to bed by 8 the latest. He started getting in the habit of coming home, getting his plate of dinner, scarfing it down in the living room, leaving the dirty dishes he ate off of on our coffee table & then going upstairs to watch tv in the bedroom with very minimal conversation.. ohhh did I put a stop to that shit. I told him it felt like he was my teenage son coming home from school..scarfing down food & then going to his room. And I am not about that life. If I want something done, like him packing up the rest of dinner, I have to ask in order for him to actually DO it. And he will without a problem. But I think because he was an only child with a mother who did everything for him, he never had to do anything in the home..which is why he still has that mentality unless he's asked. Very annoying.

My advice is don’t keep anything in! You have to voice it. I got it all: the dishes, the 60 min poop-showers, the leftovers left out,  random naps...it took 10 years and it’s still about constant reminders but it does get better! And in my case, it’s ALL about his mother lol she wiped their butts their whole lives and they want the same from their wives? No thanks sweetheart!! His two brothers haven’t changed and their wives are so frustrated and always complain but they stay quiet. I joke about it and keep it light but always make sure to get my point across. 😉😂 you got this!

Girl, I am with you on the hour long poop and shower!!!! Like what the actual heck?!?!!   😠 I can poop, shower, shave all my body parts, do my hair and makeup and still be done in under an hour! 😆

Sounds just like my husband 🤣 except after he eats, he turns into a vegetable in front of the tv and falls asleep on the couch. At least I get the whole bed 🤣
