Need advice

And before you guys start I know your first reaction is going to be to tell me, "leave him," but I'm not interested in that. I want to make my relationship work.

Ok my SO has a bad habit of making me feel stupid and like I don't know anything. It's really gotten on my nerves lately.

Last Saturday we were driving to his grandmother's and I said I didn't know something about the town where she lived, and he responded,"we'll you don't know anything at all, now do you?" It wasn't in a mean way, or anything like that it was as if he thought he was superior.

There are a few more instance that I can think of off the top of my head but I would like to know why he does this. I am younger than him by four years but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

It has just gotten ridiculous and I want to know if there is a way to make him more aware possibly of what he is doing. I'm so sure if he forgets I'm not his ex, (she was a complete ditz, like thought the post office put stamps on the letters). But I'm really tired of it.

He says I'm the best relationship I've ever had but in front of his family he was making remarks about how I was dumb, "she has ADOS Attention Deficit Oh Shiny," and "it takes a *special* person to burn hardboiled eggs," (in my defense I was very sick to my stomach in the bathroom).

Why on earth would he want me to seem stupid to people I need to impress?
