Femara increase after follicle scan

This is my first medicated cycle!

I started Femara 5mg on March 9th and RE recommended to take from CD 3-10. I went in for a follicle scan on the 17 (CD 11) and I had an 8mm follicle on the left and 7mm follicle on the right.

RE recommend doubling the dose of Femara and taking for two more days to see if follicles got above 10mm.

I went back on the 19th (CD13) and the one on the right was 12mm and one on the left was 11.5mm with some under 10mm.

She advised that I take Femara until the 23rd (CD17). We will take HCG trigger shot on the 24th (CD18) intercourse that night and then on the 26th. (CD20). She said use vaginal progesterone every night until AF or I would stay on this until 10weeks pregnant

I go for a progesterone level on the 27th (CD21) and then beta on 5/6.

Anyone else have this experience, everything I have read seem like a lot of people’s follicles were larger and ovulation/trigger was a lot earlier with a lot less Femara.

Anyone have this scenario? What was your outcome?
