Nope. When talking doesn’t fix the issue we resort to physical discipline. Idc what studies say. Everybody is so baby goes these days. Everything causes a mental issue. I’m 100% for physical intervention when other means don’t work.

During sex: no.
Spanking your kids: I wouldn’t say it’s “abusive” but I think that other disciplinary tactics should be used first. Despite what some people may think, a small tap on their hand or butt (not causing pain) will sometimes snap them out of whatever bad behaviour they were doing.

I was spanked, hit, punched, slapped, pushed and thrown by my real dad and my step dad when I was a little shit head. It made me tougher. It made my siblings tougher and we stopped being little brats. But never once did it make me hate my fathers. Obviously some people are more “sensitive” now a days and can’t handle the thought of spanking a child but yes I think a soft disciplinary spank is acceptable and does the job when words and time outs don’t work. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My parents hit me and all it did was make me hate them, even as a child. So, whilst I don’t think a single spanking is abuse, I won’t be doing it.

Big no. I was spanked as a kid and all it taught me was to fear my father, not to respect him. We were still “naughty” we were just smarter about not getting caught. I’ll never raise my hand to my child

I dont think you should spank your kids even if people do, itll just make the kid be scared/hate you and no parent should want that. I was spanked by my dad before and it just made me afraid of him, not anymore since I've grown up but still 🤷🏽‍♀️
