Sorry for the long post!!

Backstory ; I’ve always had regular cycle periods up until about 2-3 years ago.. when my periods were normal it’d always arrive on time and would last 5 days long. Up until those 2-3 years ago my periods have became very irregular I will miss my period for 1-2 months at a time with one or 2 cycles in between and the length of my cycle would vary as well this has began off and on for 2-3 years. In Nov of 2018 i got my period after that i didn’t get my period from Dec - March. Fast forward to April 1st I got my first cycle since Nov .. so just the other day I realized I have been on my period for almost a month straight. At first my flow was very light and throughout the days I have noticed my flow becoming heavy. I don’t have any crazy painful cramps or anything like that.

Now I am sexually active and not taking using any form of protection ( only person I’m sexually active with is my husband ) So throughout the course of missing my periods I’ve taken pregnancy test which have all came back negative. Even went to the drs to double check I wasn’t pregnant. Ive has a pap done everything came back normal. Both my Husband and I have been tested for STDs and we’re both clean. I know it’s not normal for my period to be this long I’ve already scheduled an appointment with my Dr. to get checked but in the meantime I’m going crazy!

I just want to see if anyone has had this happen to them?
