Progesterone changing cycle length?

I had a miscarriage (followed by D & C) in January. I was prescribed progesterone by my OB. My cycles are usually 29/30 days. Last month AF was 8 days late, and this month it was 7 days early. I’ve been traveling a lot and unfortunately not consistently taking my progesterone. Could that be a cause?

Yes if you don’t take your progesterone exactly as prescribed it won’t sustain your lining as intended and you might get your period early. If you take it as prescribed, you might need to stop it to get your period. Mine comes 4 days after stopping progesterone.

How long do you have to take it? I only had to take it for 30 days while my body healed. For one month my cycle was 30 days when I’m usually 25-26.
