Has anyone had a miscarriage even though their hcg was still rising appropriately?

I’ve had 2 MC back to back. I’m now 8 weeks pregnant again and everything is going so weird. I keep going for ultrasounds and getting bloodwork and still left with no answers. Right now the baby is measuring behind where it should be and a low heart rate which is extremely concerning to me and my OB. But my HCG and progesterone are still rising and I haven’t had any cramping or spotting yet.

I just feel so lost about what’s happening and wish either for a miracle or for the worst to just happen so I can stop holding on to what feels like false hope. 😩 sorry just needed to vent!
