When did your baby boys start crawling?

My son is almost 8 months old and not crawling yet but he’s trying so hard! 
He’s 98th percentile for height and 90th percentile for weight and doctor said since he’s bigger than other babies his age he could be taking longer to crawl! 
All the babies we know who are his age are already crawling and walking though so of course I worry! When did your boys start crawling?

Some babies skip crawling and go straight to walking so I wouldn’t worry too much

My daughter was also always in the 90th percentile or above in height and weight. She didn’t crawl until she was 9 months. Before that she would try so hard but would barely be able to move lol. I wouldn’t worry, very baby gets it at their own time. She was also a bit delayed with walking (14 months) but she’s always been very verbal. If your doctor isn’t concerned then I wouldn’t be

My boy was huge, and it definitely slowed his crawling. He was 90%+ for height and definitely was 30 pounds at 9 months. He started crawling at 9 months old on the spot but even then he was only army crawling with his belly still on the ground. 
However once he lost a bit of weight from finally moving he started crawling on his hands and knees at 10 1/2 months and was walking at 14 months. I know it's hell to have a late mover but it was so worth it seeing him finally able to move himself. 
If your boy is trying hard then I'm sure he will get it just fine and hopefully soon so you can watch him boogie!

My daughter is 9.5mos and isn't crawling or walking 🤷‍♀️ she is trying soo hard though! Lol. And she rolls like a champ! Still no crawling though... Her Dr isn't worried, so I'm just like whatever lol

My son and nephew have been similar in height, size, and weight at all of their wellness check ups (they are 9 months apart). My son started crawling at 7 months and my nephew just started when he turned one. However, I thought my son was going to walk early like his daddy did but he still didn’t start walking completely independently until 14 months. Babies just develop in their own time. Don’t stress, momma! The only thing I did different than my sister was start tummy time immediately when we got home from the hospital and did it every day, several times. My nephew still hates being on his tummy at 13 months old and she said she would absolutely do tummy time more consistently with her next.
