Has anyone used this pump before while simultaneously breastfeeding? Wondering how well it actually works.

I have a coworker tell me I had to get it. I’ve heard nothing but good things when used to catch the milk. So I put it on my registry and someone got it for me, it came yesterday. I’m so excited for this gift lol!

I use it for my morning pumpings when I have milk stored up overnight. I wonder if having larger breasts woild allow me to get more in the pump though. I have very small boobs even while nursing so the Haakaa points like straight out not hangs down so when it fills a certain point (usually about 2 ounces) i have to take it off and either call it good or transfer it amd pump again. It at least lets me get a few ounces every morning easily. It is easy to use though and comfortable while using it. I wish I would have gotten the bigger size knowing the issue with it layong horizontal...the 4 oz is a bit small when I can only fill it half way or so.

I just tried it for the first time a few minutes ago. It isn’t a pump so I didn’t get nearly as much as I would with my electric pump. But I did catch about 1.5 oz in about 10 minutes!  My baby is 8 months old and she was curious about it but did pretty well nursing while it was on. I have this brand.

Love it. I have an offbrand but it is amazing. I slept 6hours today between feeds so caught 2.5oz when I woke up. Helps to not always need to pump for the freezer stash
