Just to be clear, before I go and tell someone, what is YOUR definition of sexual assault?

If someone touches you in a sexual manner without your *enthusiastic, informed consent*, it is sexual assault.

doing anything to you without your consent. Even if you don’t say anything at all or you say yes but don’t really mean it or you’re so drunk or high or out of it that you say sure but you don’t mean it and you don’t want it

To be clear sexual assault is a legal term. Different countries will have slightly different definitions. There will also be some variablity on the wording between States and Territories within specific countries.
But overall sexual assult can classified as: when one individual engages in a sexual act with another individual, without their consent. Or when one individual coerces another individual into a sexual act. 
It is a form of sexual violence, with a broad spectrum. Sexual acts can include, but are not limited to: forced sex (viginal, anal, oral, the use of objects) groping ect.. Force can be physical, chemical, emotional or psychological.
