Gestational diabetes appointment

Hey lady's So today I'm 29 weeks and 1 day pregnant with baby 4. Anyway I've never had Gestational diabetes with any of my other pregnancy. This is my first time so today I have my Gestational diabetes appointment at 01:00pm to 03:30pm at the hospital. Dose anyone know what they talk about and what they doo? Do I have to do that finger prick thing till I have my baby or what? Please help
