What tog should I buy?

My baby is due right at the end of August, I'm not sure what tog blanket/sleeping bag to buy for that time of year.

I would go for 1tog at most. If you get 0.5 tog you could always put baby in more layers, where as if you get one too warm you can't make it cooler if that makes sense.
Gro company sell grosnugs for 0-3 month babies 5lb-12lb, with arms in swaddle option or arms out traditional sleeping bag. They do "cosy" or "light" which is cooler. We use the light one now for my one month old, if the room is too chilly we can pop extra layers on him underneath xx

My baby sleeps in a sleeping bag and has done from birth and has been absolutely fine in it. Settles really well and has never been too hot or cold x

To start with your probably want to swaddle with a cellular blanket or swaddle sack as most sleeping bags can't be used safely for a couple of months until baby's head can't pass through the neck hole.
By that time depending on how warm or cold you keep your heating will depend on the tog. Most are either 1.5 or 2.5 tog.
