Should I be mad if my boyfriend gave me chlamydia? I got tested before we ever had sex and it was negative for anything. The other day I got tested and it came back positive for chlamydia. He has never got tested before and only had one sexual partner before me, who prolly gave it to him. Idk if I should be okay with it or if I should be mad because I’m feeling both.

If he had never been tested or symptoms then he probably didn't know he had it. So you can't really be mad about things he didn't know

Most of the time men don’t show symptoms. So unless he got tested regularly he wouldn’t know he had it. So unless you think he’s cheating then there’s really no reason to know. Like I said especially if he didn’t know he had it.

In my experience, even guys should get tested for sti's even if they only have one partner. My guy has been tested, most guys I know have... it's just the responsible thing to do. I'd be a little annoyed.
