Yesterday, my SO texted me so we could go to lunch. I agreed because my client cancelled and I had an appointment at 12p with another client.

I live two minutes from work so I drove home picked him up and we went to Wendy's.

He got food. He ate. As I was driving home. I clearly only came so I could see him because we have opposite work schedules.

By the time I had arrived at home with him it was 1130ish so I told him I had a couple minutes to stay and talk with him.

He had just drove home from court for child support. He has a daughter that is 4 years old.

The mother of his daughter called him the moment I had finished telling him we had a couple minutes and he answers. Before he answers he said it would only be a second.

Well his conversation lasted several minutes so I just waved my hand for him to get out.

My point is this, shouldn't he have waited to answer the phone call until my couple minutes were over with?

I mean I am running around like a crazy person so I can see him just to hear him talk to her and it could have waited.

We are adults and I feel as he does not put me first.
