What are y'all feeding your babes?

Exclusively pumping breastmilk. LO is eating a ton right now though and going through freezer stash so will eventually take a bottle or two of formula a day.

Breastfeeding didn’t work well for me unfortunately. 
First my baby girl was born via c section, there was a miscommunication at the hospital which meant I was separated from my husband and baby for 3 hours (apparently it’s important to have them feed ASAP) 
Then the general hell that is breastfeeding happened. Unsure whether she was latching right, preference for one side, general discomfort, bleeding etc. 
At her one week appointment with a paediatrician we were told she hadn’t regained enough and needed to supplement with formula. I was told to breastfeed for 15 minutes both sides, then offer a bottle of 60ml. What happened? Baby got lazy, wanted the bottle. 
My midwife advised me to pump after each feed. So I had baby on the boob 15 minutes each side, then give a bottle, then pump 10 minutes each side. So each feed was lasting about an hour and she was only a week old. 
Then at 6 weeks I was back in hospital for emergency surgery (gall bladder removal) the first 24 hours I couldn’t breastfeed because of the drugs. Then it became a battle of wills to overcome the sheer pain. I spent a week in hospital having to hand express because the pump was only getting 20/30ml. 
When I got home the only way I could breastfeed was to lie the baby on the dining room table (on a cushion) and me lean to her. I couldn’t hold her as my stomach was in bits. 
But still we kept breastfeeding at night and more as a comfort thing during the day. I went back to work when she was 15 weeks and by the time she turned 19 weeks she had stopped breastfeeding of her own accord. 
On one side I’m sad that it didn’t really go as planned, but on the other, given what we went through it’s probably best. I’d hate to have had her struggle with a bottle whilst I was in hospital.

Formula most of the day and breastmilk at naps and bedtime mostly. I could produce enough to feed her throughout the days but didn’t wanna just stop yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️ tryna boost tho
