2nd trimester screening

Ladies , I did my first trimester screening and it was negative and ultrasound was great . Now, for some reason I said, yes to my 2nd screening trimester and it came high risk Down syndrome . I have an appt with a specialist the MA said, not to worry that all my other tests were negative but is impossible not to stop worrying or crying . Not that there is something wrong having a baby with DS is I feel not prepared or how severe it would be . I should opted out this test if my first trimester was negative and it few later it was high risk positive . Any recommendations ladies to put my mind at ease . Thanks
