My son is super active and basically wants to live outside. I have no problem with taking him out whenever the weather is decent. He gets to burn some energy and we both enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, BUT he frequently will take off running into the neighbors' yards and try to ring the doorbells. Today, he ran down the driveway and into the road. We live at the end of a cul de sac so there is not much traffic, but he NEEDS to learn to stay with me. I am pregnant and cannot chase him as well as I would like. I do not want to keep him inside all the time, but I am not sure how to make him understand how important this is. Anyone else? Any suggestions?
