Am I wrong?

Soooo last week my husband went to his parents house to mow their grass for them. Afterwards, he had dinner with them and then came home to ANOTHER dinner that I had cooked. I have no issue at all with him eating at their house; I’d just appreciate it if he’d tell me so I don’t make a whole dinner that he’s just going to waste. Well anyways, he told me that he didn’t eat over there when I asked if he did. Today my sister in law tells me that come to find out, he actually did eat over there. Am I in the wrong for being upset that he lied about something so simple and stupid? Like just tell me you ate over there so I’m not waisting food 🤷🏻‍♀️
