From Pill to Nuva Ring?

I've be on the pill for 6yrs. I'm thinking about switching to the Nuva Ring. I'm currently on a medium dose of hormones. Should I be worried about the transition to the Nuva Ring? What should I expect and how do I start it? I would just like the chance to not have to worry about taking a daily pill anymore.

I just switched from the pill to the ring and I love it so far, it’s very convenient and I haven’t noticed any changes.

The hormones are “localized”. 
To use you’ll squeeze it in half and shove it up your vagina as far as I’ll go. And then remover your fingers. It should fall and rest on your pubic bone. If it’s on correctly you shouldn’t feel it! 
I might take a couple of tries to get it in properly but it gets better with practice. 
Try to insert and remove it at the same time when you do change them it makes it more effective. 
Remember 21 days in 7 days out. When you remove it it might take a few days for your period don’t freak out. I remove mine Monday morning and I usually start Wednesday night! 
Insert the new ring on time even if you’re still bleeding it won’t hurt anything!
