IUD Recommendations?

I’ve read that the Mirena IUD can impact breastfeeding... any recommendations on an IUD or if this is true??  I have my 6 week follow up on Friday but just want to be prepared to talk to him about my options and of course get the medical recommendations.

My OB told me IUD doesn’t effect milk supply only a high dose estrogen pill contraceptive will. But he said once you have your milk supply fully established around 6 months that pretty much nothing will effect the supply.

I have the Mirena and still exclusively breastfeed my almost 9 month old. I've had no problems with my supply and haven't needed to supplement with formula. He is eating solids now, but of course his main nutrition is still breast milk. 
I like the Mirena. My period is a lot shorter and lighter. Nothing bad to say about it.

I’ve had mirena since 10 weeks postpartum. LO is 7 months old. Still exclusively BF.

I got the Paragard at 6 weeks postpartum since it was hormone free until 6 months after my ob recommended it. Made it to almost 9 months and no problems.

I have a liletta. I've had it since 7 weeks pp and my daughter is about to be 17 weeks old and she's EBF no issues. No impact to my supply.
