Night feeding?

Question

When should night feeding stop for a formula fed baby? Is there really such a thing as an average time  it should end?! My five month old sleeps 630pm to 6am waking 1/2 times a night.

Mine were around 9 months. We weaned them off of it by giving them water in a bottle. If that was enough to soothe them figured it wasn’t hunger and after a couple nights they started sleeping thru the night knowing they weren’t getting a bottle anymore.

It doesn't matter how you feed your child. But we had our daughter (formula fed) sleeping through by 5 weeks (9pm to 7am). By 4 months, we had her sleeping from 6:30pm to 7am.

Every baby is different, mine stopped waking for night feedings at 5 weeks old and because of her weight I don't wake her up. Both of my friends kids however were still feeding at night till they were almost 1.

My boy is 11 months, rarely will he wake up to feed. I think that ended around 6-7 months if I remember right.

If they go back to bed without a fight and no feed you're fine but if you try to feed and they eat, let them. Sometimes they just wake up hungry. A friend of mine is still having one night feed and her kid is over a year. My kid is almost 9 months and only needs a night feed during fussy times (teething, cold, leap, ect.) Unfortunately there is no real "time to stop"
