First time mom here. My 15 month old got a fever of 101.4°F (rectal temp) last night. All day yesterday she was a bit fussier than usual & I noticed she was cupping her ears a lot. I thought it was just teething so I was giving her these all natural oral pain relief tablets for babies we’ve been using that work like a charm usually. But it didn’t seem to ease her pain yesterday.

I discovered her fever at 8:30pm last night. Gave her a dose of children’s Ibuprofen & she was off to bed.

She’s just woken up very, very warm to the touch. I took her temp again & she’s up to 101.5°F. Just gave her another dose of Ibuprofen.

When should I call her doctor about this fever?
