Rear-ended at traffic light. How resilient is the womb?

Hi Ladies,
I was at a traffic light and the lady in back of me hit my car unknowingly stepping on the gas even though the light wasn’t green. What are the chances of there being something wrong from this type of impact? How resilient is the womb at 20 weeks?

Your baby is so very well protected however I would still go and be checked out just as a precaution.

I got hit from the front slammed into the car behind me at 24 weeks. Everything was fine. 
I still went to the ER bc I'm RH-

Very resilient! When I had an accident my hospital told me it’s extremely rare for there to be an injury caused by an accident unless perhaps you have a bump and hot that directly with some force. The risk is really more with your own health. It’s probably a good idea to call you midwife/doctor and let them know and see what they think rather than chance it though. I hope you’re ok :) x

It's unlikely that would cause any harm but it doesn't hurt to go get checked

I would get checked out at local hospital just to be safe. But likely babe is fine. You will likely feel worse tomorrow and the 3rd day (stiffness more than anything) 
Their insurance (if they have any) should cover bills for you and babe to be checked out

Get checked out just in case.  You should be fine but they’ll check for any bleeding behind the placenta and make sure everything is as it should be.
