I announced at 7w and I am happy I did! I got some grief from family. My sister even said "don't you want to wait until your ultrasound scan looks more like a baby?" I don't think she meant to be insensitive but it definitely was! Im glad she said that though. Because I thought ya know what, it's a baby in my eyes. Maybe its not scientifically a "baby" yet! But it's there and I shouldn't hide out waiting for some statistic to creep up on me.

So if you want to announce early; do it. Don't let anyone or anything make you scared to be happy.
