Did you announce your pregnancy through social media to family and friends ? At how many wks ?

We tell close family and friends right away in person. Then usually in the second trimester I'll do a social media thing.

I told my parents when I found out I was pregnant I was around 5 weeks.
I told my brother & his wife today, I’m 13 weeks. Got my scan tomorrow. I didn’t do anything fancy, I just told them. This is my second baby

We waited until the day before I was 12 weeks which just so happened to be the day before Easter so we got the whole family together and gave them big Easter eggs with a picture of my stepson holding the ultrasound pictures and one of the ultrasound pictures that he picked as his favorite to share.

i told my parents and family at 5 weeks when i found out because i thought i was 8 weeks and it was a scary time- they didn’t see anything and were telling me i was having an ectopic pregnancy so i was super emotional, and my husband had to leave the day after for military training so i needed some support. once we confirmed viability, we sent christmas ornaments to announce to my husbands side of the family. that was at 15 weeks. i’m 32 weeks and 2 days today and still going strong with it being a secret on social media 🤪

Yes we made a little video collage with music with pics from our adventures together up to this point and at the end the last pic was of a onesie, hat, and booties with our expected due date. We decided to upload it to FB at 8 weeks because it was Father's Day. The video is a nice little momento to have :-)

I announced at 12 wks in person and on social. Ended up having a late miscarriage at almost 18 weeks so I’ll never announce again before 20 weeks or until I’m showing and can’t hide it. Might not even announce shit but the birth.
