Hey Ladies,

Which would you rather have a large laundry room or a small master bathroom and slightly larger bedroom.

So my Husband and I are discussing renovations we'd like to do on our home this summer.

We currently have a 12x6 bathroom

and a 14x6 laundry room

The bathroom has a rather awkward layout, as it has bathtub and then a separate stand-up shower.

The laundry room is great, I mean who doesn't love a laundry room.

My goal would be to upgrade the bathtub to a shower/tub combo and then put a stackable washer & dryer in the place of the old stand-up shower.

The laundry room would then be walled off and made into a small master bath, we would remove the closet in the master bedroom and move it over to the other half of the laundry room, move back the bedroom door which would expand the room by 2 feet.

Reason I'm asking is we plan on selling in a few years and he's worried removing the laundry room would drop the value, but I think that having a better master would even out the value because both bedrooms in our house are both only 12x11.
