Had/having a planned C Section?? Tell me stories!!!! X

I’m booked in for 8th May, just under 2 weeks time which means I’ll be 40 weeks to the day! Having a section due to baby being breech. 
Stories, advice and anything else is soooo appreciated as I am getting really anxious, but of course cannot wait for my little bundle of joy to arrive 💙💙

Had an unplanned C-section with my first, and a scheduled one with baby #2 in about a week! Just have to be honest, the first couple weeks of recovery are tough. But, you will get through it!! 💪 My advice? 
-Use a belly band or support wrap
-Accept help when friends/family offer, particularly chores/errands, since it may be hard to do much for a couple weeks at home
-expect the possibility of a "c-section shelf" depending on how much tummy fat you have. It WILL shrink! But, no one tells you about it beforehand...when I first saw mine I was like, wtf is that?! 😂 It went away significantly by about 12 weeks pp.
-go easy on yourself during recovery in terms of expectations to be able to feel "normal" again. Doc will be like, 6 weeks!  But realistically, it'll be longer than that. Be kind to yourself if your body takes longer to heal. ❤️❤️❤️

I had a c section with my first and I’m having a scheduled c section with this one on May 15th. I didn’t have any issues with my first c section and healed really well. You just need to make sure to listen to your body during recovery and not over do anything.

Same!!!! Breech baby.  Planning on the 9th or 11th.  Making final decision Tuesday based off an ultrasound

I had a scheduled c section with my first. I was put under general and so that was brutal. But my milk came in after two feeds and recovery was 12 weeks. Never again and it was a horrible experience for me but it was all okay. 
Get depends diapers and a good post partum belly band! Trust me!
