That's about how much bruising I had when I got mine. I also have a blood vessel right near there, so it should be fine

Yeah if it doesn't go it a few weeks get it checked - she seems to have caught a blood vessel and its blood under the skin. It's a risk with the size of needle - same when I give blood I bruise :)
